Fred Eaglesmith- March 20, 2010

The New Yorker magazine said it best: “If you’re missing Fred Eaglesmith, you’re really missing out.” An award-winning and acclaimed music auteur of the highest order, he has forged a singular and distinctive legacy with his songs, recordings, live performances, achievements and impact unlike that of anyone else in contemporary music. And done so as a fiercely independent and original artist through the sheer power of the music he creates. His 17 albums over the last three decades — many of them released on his own label — have consistently evoked critical raves, and he’s been compared to a broad blue-ribbon list of musical icons. His fellow songwriters regularly record his songs and sing his praises. He hosts a number of music festivals across North America, where he plays hundreds of dates a year in addition to touring Europe and Australia. Devoted fans follow him from one show to another to savor what one reviewer calls the “fury and fun” of his concerts. His releases consistently hit the upper reaches of the Americana charts, and he’s the only Canadian to ever write a No. 1 bluegrass hit.

Looking somewhat like Dracula's nasty little brother who spent some hard years drinking and working as a carnival barker for a second-rate freak show, Unknown Hinson translates that vibe to his style of country and western-tinged psychobilly. Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, this red-necked crooner gained regional popularity with a self-produced television show in 1992 and soon was touring nationwide, wowing audiences with his outrageous and campy, white-trash persona and freewheeling, sleazy tone. Hinson’s most recent CD release, “Target Practice”, melds weepy twang and searing guitar riffs and lyrics that speak of love-gone-bad and the dark side of the honky-tonk lifestyle. Raucous, theatrical and over-the-top, Unknown Hinson isn’t just for the trailer park set anymore!
He's toured with Hank3 and Rev. Horton Heat. Billy Bob Thornton names Unknown as one of his favorite songwriters and a genius picker. Matt Groening (the Simpsons) labels Unknown as a guitar maniac (and funny as hell to boot!) Hank3 has Unknown's face tatooed on his bicep! Marty Stuart introduced him as his illegitimate brother at the Ryman in Nashville, and is placing Unknown on the front cover of his upcoming book of personal photographs. Tom Petty came backstage at a Hollywood event to ask Unknown how he gets his "sound". The Rolling Stones invited him to participate in the soundcheck session for their latest show in Charlotte, NC.
Unknown is also gaining notoriety (and fans) as the voice of lead character "Early Cuyler" in the popular new show from Cartoon Network "The Squidbillies". The first season was so well-received that an immediate green light was given to two more seasons.
What do ventriloquism, hoola hoop contests, target practice, monster sideburns, and hellacious guitar solos have in common? Come see Unknown Hinson and find out!

¨Mesmerizing ,electrifying high powered performances top notch interpretations of the worlds greatest rock in roll band in the world The Rolling Stones. Voodoo Lounge performs hits of the past and the present with an authentic look and characterization . Complete satisfaction in a pitch perfect Rolling Stones Review. It’s Not Voodoo it’s Voodoo Lounge “Authentic Stones Review“. ¨Voodoo Lounge has played a variety of venues from outdoor festival’s to casino’s and is a popular draw for the performing arts and theatre circuit, from Michigan and all through the Southern States.
Voodoo Lounge -- you really have to see it for yourself to believe it. These guys, all veterans of the local music scene, bring a lot to the table already. What isn't there when they take the stage is a note-by-note cop-cat rendition of the Rolling Stones. Sure, Mick Furlo throws on a Keith Richards look, and Nigel Silverthorn busts moves worthy of a Mick Jagger. But it's more swagger than Jagger.

Scott Miller blends folk and rock like there ain’t no words for. The power of storytelling with the power of a compressed electric guitar comes through this Virginian not heard since the likes of Wayne Newton (fellow Virginian) or The Statler Brothers (also of the Commonwealth.) Not even since Thomas Jefferson (Virginian) and Woodrow Wilson (another Virginian) formed their rock trio with drummer Stewart Copeland (northern Virginian) “League of Nations”.
Unlike most of the faux-simplified-effete’-elite-Americana/ Alt-Country world, Miller was actually raised on a working farm. His parents were a WWII generation couple that carried on the Spartan lifestyle of their Scots-Irish forefathers. Miller has described the lifestyle as “Amish that drink.

Not just all across the United States, but around the world: five chicks rocking out, holding their own musically and vocally against anyone, male or female. Fun, flirty, and electrifying: it's Mustang Sally.
Dynamic lead singer Tobi Lee (North Vernon, IN), sweet-voiced rhythm guitarist Brenda Zitzman (New Ulm, MN), fun-loving keyboard player Rachel Solomon (Austin, TX), and crazy fiddle player Sarah Wilfong (Chicago, IL), are all held together by the rock solid beat and harmony vocals of drummer Lisa Romeo (Omaha, NE).
Mustang Sally has played high profile dates with Dierks Bentley, .38 Special, Neal McCoy, Montgomery Gentry, Big & Rich, Josh Turner, Phil Vassar and Lonestar among others. Popular fair and festival headliners, Mustang Sally has also been sought to perform at military bases, rodeos, motorcycle rallies, and clubs, from New York to Las Vegas to the Middle East & Europe.
Mustang Sally began as Lisa Romeo's inspiration, and she searched the world for the most talented female musicians and vocalists to carry out her vision. Among all five members of the band there is virtually every possible musical influence, including classic country, blues, jazz, Celtic, and rock n' roll. Each girl is talented enough in her own right to be a solo artist, and Mustang Sally blends that level of artistry into a sound that blows audiences away, playing everything from edgy country to southern rock, with the unexpected bluesy chord progression, R&B riff, or bluegrass twang worked in so effortlessly that one wonders why the tunes haven't ever been played like this.
The girls consider the audience their extended family and have as much fun chatting with the crowd and signing autographs as they do rocking on stage. Follow Mustang Sally's rising star as these amazingly talented young women make their mark on the world!
